Terms of service

Last updated October 17, 2026

These terms cover website design and build work by N.A.T Web Design, run by Nicholas Taylor as a sole proprietor. Questions: nickataylor01@gmail.com.

What you are buying

I design and build websites in three tiers: Launch (from $500), Business (from $750) and Motion (from $1,000). Before any work starts, I confirm the pages, features, price and launch date with you in writing by email. That written quote is the agreement for your project.

Prices and payment

All prices are in US dollars. The prices on this site are starting prices; your written quote sets the final price.

A deposit, paid online through Stripe, starts the work. The rest is due before the site goes live. Card payments are processed by Stripe; I never see or store your card number.

Reviews and changes

You review the site while it is being built and tell me what to change. Changes that add pages or features beyond the quote are priced in writing before I do them.

Your content

You confirm you have the right to use the text, photos and logos you send me. If you need help with text, I write it with you.

Ownership

Once the balance is paid, the website built for you and its content are yours.

Hosting and domains

I host the sites I build on my Website Care Plan, which costs $40 a month and covers hosting, fixes and integrations. It is billed monthly through Stripe and renews each month until you cancel.

You can cancel the Care Plan yourself at any time from the Manage your Care Plan link at the bottom of this site. It stays active until the end of the month you have paid for, and you are not charged again.

I also provide the domain name for your site, and you pay me for it. Its cost is listed in your written quote, separate from the price of building the site.

Timeline

Your quote includes a launch date. If the project waits on content or answers from you, the date moves by the same amount of time.

Limits

My total responsibility for any project is limited to what you paid for it. I'm not responsible for outages or changes caused by the hosting company, domain registrar or other third-party services I use to run your site.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the new version is posted here with a new date. The terms in place when you paid your deposit apply to your project.
